How to use M3 Mac Data Recovery to recover lost data?

Step 1: Select where you lost files and then start scan.

Step 3: After the scan completes, M3 Mac Data Recovery would list all found files, you can preview documents (Including doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pdf, txt, html, plist, etc.) and photos.

Tips: If the files you expect are not found, please click Deep scan option and try again.

Step 4: Select the files you want to recover and click Recover to save them.

FAQ

1. When I run M3 Mac Data Recovery, I receive warning message: "M3 Data Recovery.app" is damaged and cannot be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

By default, Mac OS X security allows only the apps that are downloaded from the Mac App Store or from Mac certified developers. To fix this error, please open System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General tab -> Change the Allow apps downloaded from: option to Anywhere.

2. When I run M3 Mac Data Recovery, I receive warning message: "M3 Data Recovery.app" cannot be opened because it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store.

It is caused by Mac OS X security settings which allows only the apps that are downloaded from the Mac App Store. To fix this error, please open System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General tab -> Change the Allow apps downloaded from: option to Anywhere.
