30 days refund policy statement

M3 Data Recovery company provides every software a free/trial version, so customers can 'test-drive' before purchasing and avoid buying the wrong product.

It's because of this 'try-before-you-buy' system that M3 Data Recovery company provides up to 30 days money back guarantee since the order placed in our ecommerce platform, refunds will be approved within this guarantee only under the accepted circumstances below. If a purchase exceeds the product's money-back-guarantee period, no refund will be given.

Technician license is not with this refund policy since there are many people in your company or organization using this software which allows to provide technical service to clients with unlimited usage.

Orders placed from resellers, partners or any other unauthorized channels are not with this refund policy.

Orders placed on Mac App Store are not with this refund policy as all the refund requests of the purchases from Mac App Store are processed by Apple according to Apple refund policy.

Accepted circumstances of refund

M3 Data Recovery company offers refunds for the following circumstances:

Non-technical circumstances:

1. A customer purchased a wrong product, and then purchased the correct product from our company.

2. A customer purchased the same product twice or purchased two products with similar functions at the same time. In this case, we will refund one of the products for you.

3. A customer has been double charged due to our ecommerce payment platform.

4. The extended download service (EDS) charge is not your selection but added and charged you automatically by our ecommerce payemt platform. Partial refund of extended download service (EDS) is accpeted.

5. The customer does not receive the license key within 24 hours of purchase and has not received a timely response (within 24 hours) from our support team after making contact. In this case, M3 Data Recovery company will refund the customer's order if the customer has no need of the product in future.

6. The customer's storage device has hardware issue or is not stable/readable so that the purchased product cannot work properly, a partial refund (50% of the order) will be approved, but the purchased product still can be used in future.

7. Within 30 days, the customer has purchased one copy before and now purchased the second copy for the same computer by accident, the refund for the second copy will be approved, but the order processing fee (About 8% of the order, charged by ecommerce platform) will be deducted from the refund as no company should pay for customer's negligence.

8. Customer's special environment (For example: Before using M3 recovery software, data has been lost forever, lost data has been overwritten by new data, lost data has been corrupted, Bitlocker metadata has been corrupted; Data cannot be recovered due to file system properties;) causes customer dissatisfaction with the purchased product. Although it is not a technical problem in purchased product, but a partial refund (50% of the order) will be approved, the purchased product still can be used in future.

* M3 Bitlocker Loader for Mac doesn't accept 50% refund due to ecommece platform reason.

Technical circumstances:

Software purchased has terminal technical problems, and no solution has been provided within 30 days after our support team provides email support and remote assistance. In this case, M3 Data Recovery company will refund the purchase price if the customer doesn't want to wait for a future upgrade.

Circumstances of no refund

With products featuring up to a 30-day money back guarantee, M3 Data Recovery company generally does not refund or exchange products in the following circumstances.

Non-technical circumstances:

1. Failure to read the product description and specification before purchasing and thus resulting in dissatisfaction with the product's function and/or results. It is highly recommended that every customer read the product description and try the free or trial version before purchasing. M3 Data Recovery company doesn't refund software if product fails to meet customer's needs due to lack of understanding of the products' functions and capabilities on the part of the customer.

2. A customer claims the license key does not work but M3 Data Recovery company test the license key to be valid.

3. A customer purchased the so-called "wrong" product, and don't want to purchase correct product from our company or purchase/use the "correct" product with same/similar functions from other company; A customer claims the product doesn't meet the needs and then the customer purchases the similar/same product from other company.

4. A refund request due to changing the mind after placing an order or by simplying a "It does not work", "I am not satisfied with it", "I no longer need it", "I ordered it erroneously", "I don't need it" or "I do not want it" reason, or never provided any detailed description of the problem or refuse to cooperate with our support team.

5. A refund request will be rejected due to no technical issue that proves the software purchased didn't work.

6. A refund request claiming the failure to receive license key within two hours after order placed. Ordinarily, once an order has been placed, the license key will be displayed on order complete page ASAP and our ecommerce platform will automatically send an order confirmation email within 0.5 hour. Sometimes the arrival of this order confirmation email can be delayed due to delays caused by internet or system glitches, email spam settings, etc. In this case, customer should contact [email protected], our support team will reply you with 24 hours.

7. Refund policy is not applied to the situations when customers are not satisfied with the invoice provided by the ecommerce platform or dissatisfied with the customer services provided by the ecommerce platform.

8. A customer refund request on complaint of credit card fraud/other unauthorized payment. As we cooperates with the 3rd-party ecommerce platform, it's impossible for us to monitor authorization during payment. Once an order is processed and fulfilled, it can't be cancelled.

9. Refund policy is not applied to "RAW drive cannot be fixed", as its name of "M3 Data Recovery", M3 Data Recovery is data recovery software, so RAW Drive Recovery module is just an aid for M3 Data Recovery to quickly fix RAW partition without data loss when RAW drive can be fixed, M3 Data Recovery still can recover your lost data via Data Recovery module when RAW drive cannot be fixed.

Technical circumstances:

1. A refund requested due to technical issues, but never provided any assistance to our support team with any detailed description of the problem, refuse to try to apply any solution our technical support team provided or refuse to cooperate with our support team in attempts at troubleshooting via email support and remote assistance.

2. In a customer computer environment, free/trial version failed to work, but the customer still purchased the full version after testing, M3 Data Recovery company doesn't refund the purchased software, however, our technical support team would do their best to solve the customer's problem if this problem can be resolved. The full version's function is same as free/trial version, the free/trial version will become full version after activating to unlock the limit of free/trial version. If free/trial version failed to work, full version won't work either.

How should I request a refund?

Please provide the detailed problem (Including software screenshots) which proves the software didn't work for you.

What should I do when refund request is accepted?

Once the refund request is accepted or issued, the license key will be banned at once, please uninstall the software and remove it from your computer immediately.
