Licensing FAQ
Q: Which license should I purchase?
A: M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac has four different license types: 1-month license, 1-year license, lifetime license and lifetime license + lifetime upgrade.
1-month license will be expired after 1 month.
1-year license will be expired after 1 year if you cancel the auto-renewal.
Lifetime license is only for the version you purchased. For example, if you purchased V5.6, using V6.0 needs to pay for the upgrade.
Lifetime license + lifetime upgrade enjoys lifetime upgrade, won't pay for the future version.

Technical FAQ
Q: I cannot find "System software from developer "Chengdu Aibo Tech Co., Ltd." was blocked from loading." Allow option in Security & Privacy.
A: Please click "Reload it" in M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac installation window and try again.
Q: System extension blocked, there is No allow button in security and privacy preferences.
A: It is caused by there is no space to install the driver of M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac, please open /Library/Extensions/ folder, manually delete these drivers that are not in use, then reinstall M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac and check if allow button appears.
Q: After updating to macOS Big Sur or later version, I received error code: 1 when unlocking BitLocker encrypted drive.
A: It is caused by your installed version of M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac has not been compatible with macOS Big Sur or later version, please install the latest version and try again.
Q: "This BitLocker drive is occupied by other apps, please re-plug in this drive and try again" errror is received when unlocking.

2. Restart your Mac and try again.
3. There are errors in the file system of your BitLocker drive, please connect this BitLocker drive to a Windows computer, unlock it and then run chkdsk /X for this drive. After that, try M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac again.
Q: There is no Allow option in Security & Privacy when allowing system extension.
A: If you don't see allow option, please click "Reload it" in the setup window to reload system extension and then check if allow option appears.
Q: Why is M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac asking to make changes to my Mac computer when launching?
A: According to Apple security rules, M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac requires administrator password and authorize the root privilege to access the storage devices.
Q: M3 BitLocker Loader cannot find my BitLocker encrypted drive, but macOS disk utility can recognize it.

Step 1: Connect this BitLocker encrypted drive to a Windows computer, unlock it with the password.
Step 2: Run chkdsk X: /f for this unlocked BitLocker encrypted drive (Replace X with the drive letter of your BitLocker encrypted drive).
Step 3: After chkdsk completes, connect this BitLocker encrypted drive to your Mac and then try M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac again.
Reason 2: Your drive is 4KB sector. Trial version doesn't support 4KB sector drive, but full version supports it without problem.
Q: I received error code 33 when unlocking BitLocker encrypted drive on Mac.
A: There is problem in activation information backup saved in your local computer, please drag M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac to Mac trash and reinstsall it to try again, this issue will be resolved. We will completely solve it in next version.
Q: I received error code -1 when using M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac on macOS 10.13 High Sierra and later version.
A: This issue is caused by macOS 10.13 High Sierra and later version blocked the component of M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac, please try this solution to solve it: Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General tab as shown in following picture, please click the lock to unlock and then click Allow.
"System software from developer "Chengdu Aibo Tech Co., Ltd." was blocked from loading" option would disappear after 30 minutes, if you don't find it, please unlock BitLocker encrypted drive again with M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac, then go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General tab and click Allow.
Q: The password is incorrect, how to solve it?
A: 1. Enter the correct password and try again;
2. Try 48-digit recovery key;
3. Add M3 BitLocker Loader to full disk access in Security & Privacy if you are using "File Manager" option.
Q: I can see the files in File Manager, but not in Volume Mounter, how to solve it?
A: If there are special characters in file names, please contact [email protected], otherwise, please connect this BitLocker encrypted drive to a Windows computer, unlock it with the password and then run chkdsk /f for this unlocked BitLocker encrypted drive. After chkdsk completes, please connect this BitLocker encrypted drive to your Mac computer and then try M3 BitLocker Loader for Mac again.
Q: M3 BitLocker Loader crashed or was unexpectedly closed on Mac computer, how to solve it?
A: Please click M3 BitLocker Loader on menu bar and then select "Generate Reports", then send the generated reports or crash dump file called M3_ in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ folder to [email protected] for further analysis.

A: By default, macOS/Mac OS X security allows only the apps that are downloaded from the Mac App Store or from Mac certified developers. To fix this error, please open System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General tab -> Change the Allow apps downloaded from: option to Anywhere.
Q: When I run M3 BitLocker Loader and receive the error message: Failed to run M3 BitLocker Loader, please restart the computer and try again.
