Bitlocker for macOS Mojave/High Sierra/Serria and Mac OS X
With GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation) now in full force we have been rolling out BitLocker to our work to help minimise the impact of any data loss. One barrier we quickly ran into was that there is no BitLocker client for macOS which is a pretty major issue for staff who only have access to a Mac at home. We are quite surprised by this, Microsoft have a few Mac clients for their protocols and to not have one for removable device encryption seems to be a big gap in BitLocker becoming the industry standard.
M3 Bitlocker Loader for Mac is our solution to this. M3 Bitlocker Loader for Mac is a Bitlocker client for macOS & Mac OS X, it can mount, read, write Bitlocker encrypted drive and encrypt external drive with Bitlocker on macOS and Mac OS X.
M3 Bitlocker Loader for Mac is compatible with macOS Mojave/High Sierra/Sierra and Mac OS X 10.11/10.10/10.9/10.8/10.7, but it is not compatible with the latest macOS Catalina 10.15, we will update it until the final version of macOS Catalina 10.15 is released.
Notes: M3 Bitlocker Loader for Mac requires a healthy Bitlocker encrypted drive. If your Bitlocker encrypted drive is corrupted, please try Bitlocker data recovery software: M3 Bitlocker Recovery in Windows to recover data from corrupted Bitlocker encrypted drive.
